Tovolo King Cube Clear Ice System

Finally, an easy method for making clear ice! Perfectly insulated system creates a controlled environment where the oxygen is pushed into the bottom tray, leaving you with 4 crystal-clear ice cubes. Ultra-slow melting clear ice won’t dilute your favourite spirits and cocktails.

• Ensure your freezer is not set too cold. Aim for between -10°F and +10°F (-23°C and -12°C). Freezing time varies but tends to be around 12-18h.
• Make sure all the pieces are snapped into place securely and the foam can close around everything snugly as it did out the box.
• Fill the system through the spout using a funnel with warm or room temperature filtered water. You will need to do this in stages as it bubbles down, and check the water level through the holes of the silicone molds. Consider filling the majority by the sink, then topping it up when it’s placed inside the freezer to avoid spillage while transferring.
• Make sure you place the system on a level surface within your freezer to avoid leakage.
• When harvesting ice, allow the system to temper on your counter or in your sink so that the parts are easier to separate.
• We always recommend harvesting the ice and storing it separately in a container or plastic bag outside the system. Do not leave the completed spheres within the tray once frozen. Your ice and the silicone will absorb more freezer smells if left long-term.
